Moon River of Vintage

Now this post is going to be dedicated to one of the most beautiful women of all time - Audrey Hepburn. She is hands down number one in my list of role models and I'm pretty sure a lot of my readers would share the opinion that Audrey was beautiful both inside and out. Being an actress and a fashion model she also worked as a UNICEF Goodwill ambassador helping poor children of Africa, South America and Asia. I certainly feel honoured following this amazing woman.
One of my favourite things about her appearance is, well..EVERYTHING :D but being serious, I really like her style and, let's face it, her sense of fashion is absolutely gorgeous! I'm a big lover of vintage clothing items and Audrey's style is just the epitome of vintage. Here's a selection of my favourite outfits that Hepburn was spotted wearing

1. Casual elegance.

Audrey was one of those women who could turn an ordinary shirt (that you wouldn't even look at whilst shopping) into something elegant and special. I think that's something any girl can do, she just needs to figure out her own fashion preferences and stick to them.

2. Gorgeous dresses.

Now one of the things Hepburn is remembered for is dresses, especially the famous 'Little Black Dress', that picky fashionistas still find very stylish and pretty. Don't know how about you, but in my opinion classy dresses will never get old!

3. Peculiar hats.

Okay I am a massive lover of hats (which is probably thanks to Audrey) so I couldn't help but mention them here. I mean, look at these! Stunning! As they say- hats, scarves and mittens are a great way to express your personality, and Miss Hepburn totally rocked all the three!

And even though Audrey is known for her fashion career (which in itself implies dealing with brands and beauty things), she always said that elegance is the only beauty that never fades and that happy girls are the prettiest!

I hope this post has been interesting to read and hopefully has given you some fashion inspiration <3

January Recap

Good day to you all and a massive sorry for not posting in quite a while (a month, in fact, oopsie), I've been incredibly busy with school lately hence the lack of new blogposts. But finally I have found some spare time and in this very post I'd love to make a brief summary of the month that is January. I'm actually thinking about making such posts a monthly thing, like a teeny tiny diary in pictures, but obviously I'll be posting a lot of interesting/inspiring things related to fashion/lifestyle/art as well. Alright then, here's my January!

1. The music I listened to.
As I said, school has been absolutely insane this month so one of the things that helped me to keep up was music. Now the main singers I listened to throughout January are: Taylor Swift, One Direction, Bastille, P!atd, Fall Out Boy, Olly Murs, Troye Sivan and Ed Sheeran (quite an odd mix I know, but that's just how it is). Besides these amazing singers and bands I also listened to BBC Radio 1 and, I have to admit, this is a vital thing for me as I bloody love it!

2. The books I've read throughout the month.
The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger. Okay I have NOT managed to finish it in January, yet this book is definitely on my 'OH GOD I LOVE THIS' list, and I'm really happy I've started it, because, let's face it, the movie featuring Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep was magnificent and I can assure you, so is the book.

3. Places I went to.
The only place I managed to travel to in January was the Olympic Village in Sochi, and it was a school trip with my classmates, but it was good fun and I honestly enjoyed every minute of it. The surroundings are amazingly beautiful and even though the competition itself is over, the atmosphere is still very thrilling and exciting.

4. Pictures I've taken.
More like pictures of me heh, but you know, who doesn't like a good old photoshoot? I certainly do! Plus this January turned out to be quite snowy (which isn't always a thing so yay for the snow) thus we had an opportunity to go out and snap a couple pictures.

And this little cutie with a blue collar is Stitch and no, he's not mine, the owners went away for a couple of weeks and I had the honour of looking after the bowwow

I hope your January was very good and may your February be even better!
